For my first resident artist gallery opening at Blackbird Studios I will be presenting a new series of work relating to Wear Recycle. These are the Recycled Paper Paintings. The goal of them is for me to experiment adding color to the paper that is sculpted in a similar fashion as the sculptures. The goal of these works is for me to become comfortable painting on the medium so that I can incorporate paint into the Zappos series of the sculptures. They are going to be Amazing!
The paintings will also be for sale online starting the evening of the reception. More details will be posted as I know them.
